NIDHI KRISHNA

Writer, theatremaker, and creative working across form, discipline, and industries.

ABOUT ME

I believe in making work that is sincere, fearless, and disruptive.

I’ve worked with early-career playwrights, theatre companies, performing arts schools, festivals, and publishing houses across dramaturgy, marketing and outreach, writing and facilitation, research, editorial, and more.

I work collaboratively and non-hierarchically with organisations and individuals. I support artists from a space of warmth and curiosity, and my personal artistic practice is feminist and interdisciplinary.

Communications

I’ve worked across marketing and outreach on the UK tour of Frankie Goes to Bollywood – facilitating advertising campaigns, social media promotion, print and digital assets, and market research – across ten venues including the Southbank Centre in London.

I’ve supported Bland Communications in securing media coverage and planning press events for luxury food, drink, and beauty brands, working with journalists at top lifestyle online and print publications like Good Housekeeping, Marie Claire, Evening Standard, Metro, and more.

My work with Neon Performing Arts is ongoing, spanning two years of creative social media management, design, and copywriting to increase youth engagement in the arts in South London. More recently, I led the social media campaign for their pilot festival – Colours & Cultures – featuring established and emerging artists in a celebration of South London’s diverse community and green spaces.

Publishing

My academic training informs my work as a freelance proofreader with Pan Macmillan India and Penguin SEA.

I have worked with meticulous attention-to-detail and adherence to industry standards across non-fiction works, classics, and anthologies, ensuring accuracy, coherence, and accessibility.
